Washing

Because baby alpaca wool naturally repels dust and odors, there's no need to wash it frequently. To keep it fresh, simply air it outside for a few hours. If washing is necessary, we recommend hand washing it in cold water with a mild detergent (such as baby shampoo) or a wool detergent. Let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing. To dry, gently wrap the item in a towel to remove excess water. Lay it flat on a dry towel, away from direct sunlight, to maintain its shape. The shape you apply before drying will remain the same after it has dried completely.

Storage

Before storing, make sure the item is completely dry. Place a small bag of lavender or a few cedar balls next to it to repel moths. Because moths dislike movement, avoid leaving the item unused in a closet for long periods. Instead, store it in a dry, well-ventilated place and remember to air it out periodically.
